In this project I partnered with my friend Mike Daniel Wibowo and assigned by Sr. Raymond Bahana to create a theme in wordpress. Since me and Mike are crazy, we decided to make a MLG 420 wordpress theme style. First of all, we’ve given this particular template from Sr. Raymond Bahana:
And then after several week of customizing it, this is our latest product:
It is decided that our theme will use Memes for its theme foundation. Me and Mike brainstormed together in order to achieve our theme. In this assignment, I’ve achieved on giving ideas such as “we should add Snoop Dog.gif as our footer, oh we also should add doritos and doge in our websites.”
My part on this assignment is adding background opacity of the color, adding Doritos background, adding doge.gif at the header of the theme, customizing the mouse cursor into Doritoz, changing font of the sidebar into Comic Sans Serif and also inputting Mike’s song into the sidebar.
In Mike part, he did on adding base color on the background (green and orange), adding the worm thingy, adding Minashapls.gif, changing text of the main text into Comic Sans Serif, and also putting the Snoop Dog in our footer.
All in all, I’m impressed on our theme (based on how funky it is) and I think this experience will led us on perfecting our skill on html and css.
I’m also thankful for my partner Mike Daniel that he is able to communicate and adding stuff that I asked him to.
